The Hamza family arrived by plane in Boston on a blustery cold night on January 17, 2017. They had spent the previous 4 years in Turkey after leaving the Kurdish region of Syria (they are Kurds). They arrived in Boston after finally getting official refugee status, just before the original Muslim Ban. We have exciting news regarding the Hanukkah Party. This year, it is going to take place immediately before the Hanukkah service on Friday night, December 13, 2019. Everyone is welcome to join us in the social hall at 5:30 pm for dinner, crafts, dreidel games and socializing.
