Introduction to the Talmud (CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER)

The Adult Ed Committee will be sponsoring an Introduction to the Talmud class taught by Ben Einsidler
Ben Einsidler is a rabbinical student at Hebrew College and a teacher of Talmud at JCDS, Boston’s Jewish Community Day School. He lives in Burlington with his wife and two children. His class will be an introduction to the Talmud, Judaism’s primary text of religious law and theology. The class will consist of a basic introduction to the history of the text, along with studying various Talmudic texts in traditional hevrutot (partner study) and whole-class discussion.
Class dates are the following. All classes will be held on Mondays from 6:30 – 8:00
