"Kristallnacht", or the "Night of Broken Glass," when Nazi thugs destroyed Jewish shops and synagogues across Germany in 1938, will be commemorated on Saturday evening, November 9th at 5 pm on the steps of First Parish on the Bedford Town Common. Sponsored by the Bedford Jewish Community and the Interfaith Clergy Network, the ceremony is brief with readings, candle-lighting, and songs. We gather to mourn, to remember, and to strengthen our resolve to resist such violence in our own time."
