Please join us for one of the most important events of the year, the Bernard Nelson Memorial Shabbat service. At this service we recognize a member of our congregation who has made extraordinary, ongoing contributions to the development and spiritual growth of the Temple Shalom Emeth community. The award is given in memory of Bernard Nelson, our temple’s first lay leader whose devotion and dedication toour temple enabled it to survive and flourish over many years. A committee composed of former award recipients meets annually to select the honoree.
It is a privilege to announce that the 2016 Bernard Nelson Award recipient is Jeff Nussbaum. The award will be presented to Jeff during a Shabbat service of celebration on Friday April 15th, as we honor Jeff for his many contributions on behalf of our congregation.
Please mark your calendar accordingly and attend this special service with your Temple Shalom Emeth family. The past recipients will provide a delightful Oneg after the service where we will continue to celebrate Jeff’s service to TSE as we relax and enjoy each other and Shabbat.
