Antisemitism: Coping and Responding in Today’s World
February 3, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Antisemitism in the United States, and around the world is increasing. There have been worrying incidents in our own community too. The Temple‘s Social Justice Committee is organizing this meeting where attendees will have a chance to discuss their own experiences. We will address different types of antisemitism: whether they come from ignorance, hostility, or extremism. We will also present some ideas on how to respond, and when it’s best to just walk away. This meeting will be informed by information we gathered reading Deborah Lipstadt’s book “Antisemitism: Here and Now”
